Monolith Appoints Chief Accounting Officer to Leadership Team

Suzanne Grafton is a seasoned executive with significant experience building and leading multinational accounting teams for public companies

Monolith, a global leader in commercial-scale carbon black production using the methane pyrolysis process, recently appointed Suzanne Grafton as the company’s Chief Accounting Officer. Grafton brings 25 years of extensive experience in accounting and finance to Monolith in a move that expands and strengthens Monolith’s finance team.

In her role as Chief Accounting Officer, Grafton leads all of the accounting for the organization and serves as a strategic business partner working cross-functionally to drive profit and growth and optimize outcomes for Monolith.

Prior to joining the Monolith team, Grafton served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for Kansas City Southern from July 2017 to May 2023. From 2006 to 2017, Grafton held various roles with increasing responsibility in the finance organization at Kansas City Southern, including Vice President of Audit and Enterprise Risk Management and Vice President of Accounting. She spent the early part of her career in public accounting at Deloitte after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Creighton University.
