“Over the past five years, James has continued to impress us by delivering a consistent, impressive execution of financial strategy, and we are thrilled to have him on the leadership team,” said Rob Hanson, cofounder and CEO, Monolith. “James understands the extra effort needed when presenting a new technology to the market and he’s built highly successful strategies to help investors recognize our unique value and future potential.”

Prior to joining Monolith, Premkumar worked in finance roles for a multi-billion-dollar LNG and pipeline project development company and for a North American private equity firm, investing $2+ billion in energy companies. Premkumar began his career at RBC Capital Markets working in the Global Energy Group. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Master of Management from Harvard University. He is a registered Professional Engineer and a CFA Charterholder.
