The Electrical Engineer Intern will be responsible for working with the Electrical Engineer on site designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems ranging from small components designs to large plant installation. The Electrical Engineer Intern will work on projects from the concept and detail of the design through to implementation, testing and handover.
Design, coordinate, and conduct acceptance and maintenance testing
Preparing electrical documentation to include single lines, and physical layout
Test, maintain and modify existing electrical systems
Work collaboratively with design engineers, process engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff
Understand and ensure compliance with safe electrical work practices
Assist in sourcing equipment
Produce details of specifications and outline designs
Monitor status, performance, and health of critical electrical systems
Analyze data and present findings in written reports
Performs other duties as needed

Completed at least 1 semester of their 3rd year in an accredited Electrical Engineering program, and have excelled in the following courses:
Signals & Systems
An equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the job duties and responsibilities
Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment
