Monolith Plans Extended Outage

March 5th, 2024
  • Why do you need to have an extended outage? Most manufacturing facilities experience an outage for annual equipment updates and maintenance. Our OC1 site is no different. You might remember that our last extended outage was in September last year.

  • How will that impact me? It won’t, other than you may notice:

    • A slight increase in traffic as more vendors will be coming to the site to assist in the facility updates/enhancements.

    • You may hear some different sounds coming from site than you might hear when we’re operating. That's normal.

    • Different kinds of equipment coming and going that you don’t normally see during normal operations.

  • When will this occur?  Right now, the extended outage is planned for March 11th  – through March 27th , these dates might change a bit due to equipment availability, weather, etc.

  • What do I need to do? Nothing.

  • Who will this extended outage impact? Only the plant operations team at our OC1 facility. This will not impact the operating hours of our Hallam office.

  • Where will this extended outage take place? The outage operations will be limited to the OC1 site and the adjacent gravel “contractor” parking lot. At this time, there is no reason to believe it will extend beyond the boundaries of our manufacturing site.
