Chuck Firth, Vice President of Safety
Leads corporate safety, health and environment capability.
Professional Background:
Chuck is a licensed professional engineer with over 29 years of experience in the safety, health and environment field. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering before receiving a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Eric Barth, Environmental Manager
Responsible for the development, facilitation, data gathering, and continuous improvement of environmental programs.
Professional Background:
Eric received his Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Nebraska in 2012. He began his career as a Program Specialist for NDEE before working for Smart Children in their Compliance Manager role from 2013 to 2018. In March of 2018, he became the Environmental Operations Manager for BNSF Railway in Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
Chet Braud, Senior Manager, Safety & Health
Chet plays a crucial role as Monolith's subject matter expert, actively contributing to our team's overall success by safeguarding the safety and well-being of our valued team members.
Professional Background:
Chet received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University, and a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University.
Chet is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
Chandrachur (Chan) Sengupta, Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Technician
Responsible for promoting a safe work culture, while supporting and assisting the operations and engineering teams with safety-related issues.
Professional Background:
Chan is an Iowa State graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology, specializing in Occupational Safety. He began his career as a Safety and Ergonomics Intern at Lennox Industries before working as a Safety Professional for the John Deere Harvester Works Combine Factory.
Tim Woolsey, Safety, Health and Specialist
Professional Background:
I have worked in chemical plants and refineries along the Gulf Coast for 35 years, 24 of those in the safety field. I have several safety certifications and safety training experience.
Job:
My Job is to do my part in keeping everyone safe so they can go home the same way they came to work. We will do it safely, or we won't do it.
Fun Fact:
Nebraska Cornhuskers, of course. I am a native Nebraskan, I was born and raised in western Nebraska.

Luz Falcon-Martinez, Senior Manager, Environmental Projects
Professional Background:
I have always wanted to have a positive impact on people's lives, so I chose to study Environmental Science & Engineering with an Area of Special Interest in Humanitarian Engineering at Colorado School of Mines. I am known for embracing challenges and having a positive approach to problem-solving. I have found the environmental permitting and compliance field rewarding, but I also really enjoy being able to invest in people.
Job:
Engage with internal clients to identify environmental permitting and other deliverables needed for upcoming greenfield/brownfield construction and existing site expansions and participate in process or procedural improvement projects. Develop and execute strategy for permits required to begin project construction and transition into operation.
Fun Fact:
I am an undercover arts/crafts maker and a loyal Denver Broncos fan, regardless of their seasonal standing!
