Long Live Hallam Fest
If you were unable to attend HallamFest this year (2023), here's a look at the record-breaking day:
The day started out with a bike parade, which was sponsored by the UNMC Church in Hallam. It was a fun activity for the local youth to decorate their bikes and wear some amazing superhero costumes! UNMC Church was so kind as to provided ice cream and sweet baked goods throughout the day as well.
The Legion had breakfast, as well as hosted a Veteran's advisory outreach.
Olmstead sponsored this year's car show, with a magnificent outcome.
Inside the auditorium and around the village was a swap meet and craft vendors.
There were plenty of activities for children, with bounce houses and tiny tuggers tractor pulls.
A corn hole tournament entertained the adults into the evening hours, while Hallam Steakhouse sponsored HallamFest's first annual pie eating contest.
At 6 PM Hallam Station provided a beer garden while the Dirty Boots Band performed, providing the perfect atmosphere for dancing and socializing.
At midnight, the festival ended with the Hallam Steakhouse providing its traditional breakfast, to close yet another successful year of HallamFest.
